How to Show or Unhide Developer Options on Fire TV Stick

Use this video if your Fire Stick doesn’t show the Developer Options menu yet.

Reveal the Developer Options menu if it is hidden

1. Turn on your Fire Stick and wait until you are on the Home screen.
2. Open Settings.
3. Open My Fire TV.
4. If you already see Developer Options, stop here and go to Step 2.
5. If you do not see Developer Options, open About.
6. Highlight the name of your Fire TV device.
7. Press the center Select button on your remote 7 times quickly.
8. Wait for the message that says you are already a developer, or a similar message.
9. Press Back once. You should now see Developer Options.

Find Downloader in the Amazon Appstore

1. Go to the Fire Stick Home screen.
2. Choose Find, then Search.
3. Type Downloader.
4. Select the orange Downloader app by AFTVnews.
5. Choose Get or Download.
6. Wait for installation to finish.
7. Open Downloader.
8. If Downloader asks for permission, click Allow.
9. If a quick start message appears, click OK.

Turn on install permission for Downloader

1. Go back to the Home screen and open Settings.
2. Open My Fire TV.
3. Open Developer Options.
4. Open Install Unknown Apps.
5. Find Downloader in the list.
6. Turn Downloader ON.
7. Return to the Home screen.

On some Fire TV versions, you may see Apps from Unknown Sources instead. Turn on the setting that allows Downloader to install apps.
If this setting is off, the IBO Player Pro installer may not open.

Enter the official code exactly

1. Open Downloader.
2. Highlight the address box at the top and press Select.
3. Type 481220 exactly.
4. Choose Go.
5. Downloader should load the official IBO Player Pro APK from iboproapp.com.

If the code loads, you are using the correct official Fire Stick installation method.
If the code doesn’t load, enter the direct official URL instead: https://iboproapp.com/ibopro.apk.

Finish the installation

1. Wait for Downloader to finish downloading the APK file.
2. When the Fire TV install screen appears, choose Install.
3. Wait until the installation finishes completely.
4. Choose Open to launch the app now.
5. If Downloader later asks whether you want to delete the installer file, you can choose Delete to save storage space.

Deleting the installer file doesn’t remove the app. It only removes the downloaded APK file.

Find the MAC Address and Device Key

1. Open IBO Player Pro.
2. On the first screen, look for MAC Address and Device Key.
3. Write them down exactly, or take a clear photo with your phone.
4. If you don’t see them immediately, open Account.
5. On some versions, the same details may also appear in Settings > Account Info.

Enter these values exactly as shown. One wrong character can stop the login from working.

Use Add XC Playlist when you receive 3 separate login values

If your email looks like this, use the Add XC Playlist button on the IBO Player Pro website.

• You received 3 separate pieces of information.
• The first one is the server or host address.
• The second one is the username.
• The third one is the password.
• This means your correct button is Add XC Playlist.

Use Add Playlist when you receive 1 long M3U link

If your email looks like this, use the Add Playlist button on the IBO Player Pro website.

• You received 1 long URL only.
• The username and password are already inside the link.
• You don’t split this into separate boxes.
• You paste the full link into the URL field.
• This means your correct button is Add Playlist.

Enter your MAC Address and Device Key

1. On your phone or computer, open https://iboproapp.com/manage-playlists/list/.
2. In the first box, enter the MAC Address from your Fire Stick.
3. In the second box, enter the Device Key.
4. Click Login.
5. You should now land on the Manage Playlists page.

Once you are on the Manage Playlists page, you are in the correct official setup area.

How to add Xtream Codes using Add XC Playlist

1. On the Manage Playlists page, click Add XC Playlist.
2. In Playlist Name, type iBostreaming or any simple name you want.
3. In the Server URL or Host field, paste the server address exactly as sent by iBostreaming.
4. In the Username field, paste your username exactly.
5. In the Password field, paste your password exactly.
6. Click Submit or Add.
7. Wait for the website to save the playlist.

Use this only if you received 3 separate values: server, username, and password.

How to add an M3U link using Add Playlist

1. On the Manage Playlists page, click Add Playlist.
2. In Playlist Name, type iBostreaming or any simple name you want.
3. In the URL field, paste the full M3U link exactly as sent by iBostreaming.
4. Do not remove anything from the link.
5. Do not split the link into separate boxes.
6. Click Submit or Add.
7. Wait for the website to save the playlist.

Use this only if you received one long playlist URL.

Reload the app and choose your playlist

1. Return to your Fire Stick.
2. Close IBO Player Pro and open it again.
3. Wait 10 to 30 seconds while the app loads the playlist.
4. If you see Continue, click Continue.
5. If you see Change Playlists, choose the playlist name you created.
6. If you see Reload or Refresh, use it once.
7. When setup is complete, you should see sections such as Live TV, Movies, and Series.

Success looks like this
You can open categories and play channels, movies, or series inside the app.
If nothing appears yet
Close and reopen the app one more time and wait again.
If more than one playlist appears
Select the one named iBostreaming or the custom name you created.
If one channel fails
Try another stream before assuming the entire setup failed.

Downloader code 481220 doesn’t load

• Make sure your Fire Stick is connected to the internet.
• Close Downloader and open it again.
• Re-enter 481220.
• If it still fails, enter https://iboproapp.com/ibopro.apk directly.

I don’t see Developer Options

• Go to Settings > My Fire TV > About.
• Highlight your device name.
• Press the center Select button 7 times.
• Use the embedded Developer Options video above if needed.

The APK won’t install

• Open Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options.
• Open Install Unknown Apps.
• Make sure Downloader is turned ON.
• Try the download again.

The website login fails

• Check the MAC Address and Device Key again.
• Make sure there are no extra spaces.
• Use iboproapp.com, not an unofficial site.

No channels appear inside the app

• Close and reopen the app.
• Use Change Playlists, Continue, or Reload if shown.
• Check whether you used the correct method: Add XC Playlist or Add Playlist.
• Compare your iBostreaming email with the examples above.

The app freezes on start

• The official IBO FAQ says the app loads the playlist every time it starts.
• Wait a little longer and test your internet connection.
• Restart the Fire Stick and try again.
